WELCOME TO WALKING FOOTBALL'S FIRST CLUB!

Senior Spireites play Walking Football in the Chesterfield area 4 times a week and we are always looking for new members. If you like the idea of fun, fitness and friendship, come and play the beautiful game with us. New membership is open to men and women over 50 years old of all abilities and levels of fitness.

Playing sessions are at The Akademy, Callywhite Lane, Dronfield on Monday and Fridays from 11.00 to 12.00 and on Tuesday evenings from 19.00 to 20.00. There are also sessions at Eastwood Park, Hasland on Thursdays from 10.00 to 11.00. (At Hasland it is a tarmac surface which requires care to be taken when playing, to avoid the risk of injury).

The playing sessions on Tuesday evenings at Dronfield and Thursday mornings at Hasland are currently full but we do have a waiting list for new members if they would like to play at either of these sessions in the future.

If you would like to try this fun sport, come along to one of the playing sessions. The first taster event is FREE and then you pay a monthly membership fee of £7.50. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Why not look us up on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/chesterfieldwalkingfootball/

Soccer is in our blood, and we can still do it, sort of. At least we can still enjoy it!
Come and try us out and join in the fun.
Chesterfield Senior Spireites Walking Football was born in 2011 and we're still going strong, now with over 120 members.

Following a recent incident where one of our members suffered a cardiac arrest whilst playing, the Club is wanting to highlight the importance of everyone being aware of how to do CPR and to be able to operate the defibrillator units that are available.

Below is a very useful video from the British Heart Foundation on how to do CPR.
